I can share the most beautiful scenery but so much of driving across the country actually looks like this. I’m alone in a cheap motel room with almost no natural light. The traffic outside is loud. The heater is either 80 or ice. I’m looking at maps and counting hours and miles and dollars, while eating granola from a plastic bag for dinner. For every outside there is an inside and sometimes they match and often they don’t. This is where so many of us would rather look away. Not me. I always want to see both sides. Show me the beauty and then show me how you got there.
